Counterfeit of the Secret Police (SB) record made by the Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (IPN)? In the publication of the Institute from 2003 the record of the Secret Police (SB) was quoted from which alleged political espionage of Independent Political Group (NGP) and National Movement (Ruch Narodowy) appears. The record was presented without date and signature: AIPN Gd, 0046/638, Notatka na temat Gdanskiego Srodowiska Narodowego, b.d., b.p. (S. Cenckiewicz, Sluzba Bezpieczenstwa w walce z Ruchem Mlodej Polski 1979-1988, "Pamiec i Sprawiedliwosc", No. 2, 2003, p. 142). In the publication from 2004 issued within the IPN study projects the same SB record is quoted without date only: AIPN Gd, 0046/638, Notatka na temat Gdanskiego Srodowiska Narodowego, bez daty (S. Cenckiewicz, Oczami Bezpieki. Szkice i materialy z dziejow aparatu bezpieczenstwa PRL, Cracow 2004, p. 404).
ARCANA Publishers have published a book of Slawomir Cenckiewicz entitled Oczami Bezpieki. Szkice i materialy z dziejow aparatu bezpieczenstwa PRL (Cracow 2004). The book has been issued as a part of study projects of Institute of National Remembrance (IPN): Wladze PRL wobec kryzysow spolecznych i opozycji demokratycznej w l. 1956 - 1989 and Aparat bezpieczenstwa PRL wobec emigracji i Polonii. Professor Roman Wapinski is the reviewer of the book. Roman Wapinski began his relationship to the Left at the age of sixteen; he was a member of Province Committee of Communist Party (KW PZPR) in Gdansk and he was a author of school books under communist regime. Professor Wapinski conferred the author's of the book doctorate.

(IPN). The Presidiums of both the Seym and of the Senate
were notified of the case submitted to the IPN.
The letter of March 29, 2003 remained unanswered.

work Stan wojenny w Polsce 1981-1983, Warszawa 2003 [Marshall Law
in Poland 1981-1983, Warsaw 2003], which contains another account
of the alleged collaboration of the Independent Political Group
[Niezalezna Grupa Polityczna (NGP)] and National Movement [Ruch Narodowy].
We will not analyze this study, as it will be done in court, in the case
which was the subject of our Notice of Intent to Sue addressed to
the IPN dated March 28, 2003.

The Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (IPN) in its letter dated May 7, 2003 has denied our requests stated in our Notice of Intent to Sue dated March 28, 2003. As a result the petitioners will file a court case in this matter.

In December 2002 the Institute of National Remembrance - Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (IPN) has published excerpts from its publication entitled Stan wojenny w Polsce 1981-1983 [Marshall Law in Poland 1981-1983] on its internet site. This text contains false statements and insinuations relating to Niezalezna Grupa Polityczna [Independent Political Group] and Ruch Narodowy [National Movement] (http://www.ipn.gov.pl/stan_wojenny_gdansk.html). The persons who were slandered intend to take appropriate legal steps.
